Automotive Servicing NCII Curriculum of Samson College is a combination NCI of Samson College Curriculum, NCII, and some major components of NCIII and NCIV of the TESDA curriculum.

Automotive Servicing NCII deals with the study of a 4-stroke cycle engine and the operating principles, functions, trouble, and remedies of parts and components of the following:

  • Engine parts/components
  • Power train (manual transmission)
  • Under-chassis
  • Suspension
  • Chassis electrical system
  • Automotive battery
  • Automatic transmission
  • Electronic engine management systems
  • Automotive air-conditioning systems
  • Emission control system
  • Lubricating system
  • Cooling system
  • Ignition system
  • Pre-heating (glow plug) system
  • Starting system
  • Charging system
  • Fuel injection system
  • Power steering system

We also train our students on how to:

  • Read, calibrate and use measuring tools
  • Use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE) & vehicle protective equipment (VPE)
  • Perform tune-up of petrol/gas and diesel engines
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Apply safety and perform the 5S.

Requirements of the course:

  1. High School Graduate before K-12 implementation, or
  2. Senior High School Graduate (K-12)
  3. Genuine Interest in the field of automotive

Course Duration:

  1. Two years (4 semesters)
  2. Four hours a day, six days a week (Monday to Saturday)
