The ACT course is a two-year non-degree program leading to a diploma in Associate in Computer Technology. It is a ladderized program for Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Information Management courses.
The course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to use state-of-the-art computer systems to solve business and information systems related problems. It involves the teaching of different Programming Languages, Web Development, Database Design/Development, Networking, and other computer programs. Upon the completion of the course, the students are allowed to choose the specific course they intended to pursue such as BSCS, BSIT, and BSIM career opportunities include computer operator, application programmer, programmer/analyst, network manager, network administrator, applications specialist, and web specialist.
